The day at the Army Rugby Football stadium in Aldershot was supported by over 100 Rotarians from 10 local Rotary clubs.
The local school attending includes Woking’s Park School, Freemantles School and Meath School, and others are joined by teachers, carers and parents swelling the numbers to around 1800.
The children were entertained by clowns, face painting, three large inflatable slides, bouncy castles, roundabouts and a miniature steam railway. A number of farm animals were another attraction for the youngsters.
Food included sandwiches, fresh fruit, hot dogs and burgers, washed down by fruit juices.
On hand were the Police, St John Ambulance, and Fire Brigade to ensure the security and safety of the children who were also allowed to see their equipment.
