Graham Fagence - President

Graham joined Rotary in 2005 and has previously been responsible for Membership and the International committee. Graham was born in Woking , is married to Diane and has a grown up daughter and son.He trained as an engineer and has spent his career in the power generation industry and is now responsible for power plant business development with Hitachi.









Michael Watson - Senior Vice Chairman

Michael joined Rotary in 1995 and is chairman of Club Service. Michael was born in Swindon but has lived in the Woking area for over 30 years. He is married to Sally and they have a grown up daughter and son. Michael is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and was elected a member of Council for Central Southern England in 1997 to 2007. He also has a Masters degree in Management from a leading USA business School, the J.L. Kellogg graduate School of North western university of Chicago which is based in Evanston , Illinois the same town that Rotary has its headquarters.

Michael began is career in an accounting practice after which he joined a USA Fortune 500 Company in the Electrical and Electronics Industry. In 1989 he spent three years at corporate headquarters in Chicago being responsible for International Accounting covering Europe, Latin America and the Far East . He returned to the UK in 1992 and joined a FTSE 100 company in the Pharmaceutical industry as Divisional Finance director.

In 1994 he formed an accounting practice specialising in Business Accounting, Taxation of business. In 2002 he formed a partnership based in West Byfleet before moving to bigger premises in New Haw in 2009.



Hugh Shaw - Junior Vice Chairman

Hugh joined Rotary in 2010 and is chairman of the public relations and membership committee for this year. He is married to Sally with two grown up children and three grandchildren to date. They have lived in Woking for nearly 30 years. His wife worked with local businesses in her previous employment as executive secretary for Woking Chamber of Commerce.

Hugh qualified as a chartered civil engineer and has had a career in construction management. In more recent years he has been a consultant employed by local company Mouchel working with London Underground on their tube modernisation programme.



Colin Kramer - Secretary

Colin has lived in Woking since 1974 and joined Rotary in 2002. He is married to Penny and has a grown up son and daughter. He trained as a banker and worked in management positions in branches of Glyn Mills & Co. and Williams and Glyn’s Bank in the City and West End of London. Towards the end of his career he undertook Senior Management roles in Credit Control and Risk Management in RBS before retiring in 1999.








Peter Spreckley- Treasurer

Peter joined Woking Rotary Club in 2006, and became Auditor that year, and Treasurer in 2007. He has lived in Woking since 1989, and is now retired after a career, mainly in finance, with Ford Motor Company and British Steel/Corus.
