Rotary Swimathon
The event took place last year on Saturday 10th Oct 2009 at Pool in the Park, Kingfield Rd, Woking.
The good causes being supported this year are The Mayor's Charity Appeal, Woking and Sam Beare Hospices, Park School, Freemantles School, Let's Read, SERV (Surrey) ("the Bloodrunners"), Benny the Bus, and we may also leave some money for other local charitable needs.
We would not have been able to run this years event without all the teams, sponsors and volunteers, you did a great job thank you.
We are in the process of collecting the sponsorship money and would be grateful if the teams could send us the money as soon as possible. To enable us to distribute the money to the chosen charities at an early date.
The pledges on the day where £7000 which is a wonderful result but is likely that this amount will be exceed.
