MAN IN THE COMMUNITY AWARD

ROB KNEE

The winner of the Man in the Community for 2009 was Rob Knee, Leader of the Ozone Youth Club in Byfleet. He started the Club over 6 years ago and it has 120 young people on its books. Between 45 and 50 youngsters between the ages of 11 and 14 attend each Friday evening at St Mary's Church Hall. Once a
month in term time he and his wife run the Zone Night Club for approximately 100 young people. These two events form one of the most successful Community based youth projects in Surrey.
