Rotary Swimathon Top Fund-Raising School - Energetic youngsters from a local school have visited event sponsor Trident Honda’s Ottershaw showroom to collect their prize – for being the school which raised the most money during the recent Woking Rotary Swimathon.

...The girls – from Halstead Preparatory School in Woodham – donned their cozzies to collect a staggering £883 in sponsorship!

Now in its third year, the Woking Swimathon run by Woking Rotary in aid of local charities has been sponsored by Trident Honda from the start. Terry Smith, event organiser said he was very impressed with the children’s efforts.

He commented: “The swimmers from Halstead School have set the standard and everyone is thrilled with their commitment and energy. The challenge for all the other school teams will be to beat £883 next time!”

Sabina Fellows, Head Teacher at Halstead Preparatory School commented: “I’m very proud of our pupils, not only for their great team spirit and behaviour on the day, but for raising a large amount of money for such worthy causes.”
