Victims of the floods in Pakistan were helped by the two Woking Rotary Clubs from donations amounting to £2000 out of their International Benevolent funds raised from events to supply ShelterBoxes containing emergency cooking equipment, and other vital supplies shipped out to the victims of the devastating floods.

These ShelterBoxes provide a disaster relief tent for a family up to 10 persons and were purchased to support the National Pakistan Flood Appeal. They were the brainchild of a Rotarian 10 years ago setting up the largest Rotary Club project in the history of the organisation in the UK .

People who have been victims of disasters including earthquakes, volcanoes, and floods have been sent ShelterBoxes in the past, including those affected by the Haiti earthquake.
