The events committee runs all the main events in the club. Most of these are fund raising events but we also try and make them fun and enjoyable. They range from Operation Santa at Christmas, Charity Golf Days, Rotary/Mizens Kids Day, Kids Out (normally a day out for about 800 kids with special needs), Swimathon which has raised over £45000 in last three years, Inter Club Golf Days and Woking Firework Night (where we assist Woking Round Table with their firework event).

Operation Santa - THANK YOU WOKING - We collected £3530 which will go to local charities.

Christmas Collection - 2nd December 2011

We will also be coming into a period of Christmas collection in December and for information the first collection will be at Morrison’s on Friday 2nd December from 10am to 8pm.

Round Table Fireworks - 5th November 2011

We had 15 members and friends help on the day and thanks to them. Congratulation to Round Table on making a profit of over £19000.

Swimathon - 23 October 2011

A very good event . Expect to collect between £8000 and £9000. Next Year Swimathon will take place on Sunday 14th October 2012

Rotary / Mizens - 2nd August 2011

The Rotary / Mizens day was again a huge success and we can certainly look to expand it next year. The provisional date for next year will be Thursday 2nd August 2012. We would like to thanks Mizen Railway members and all our member who help to make this a great day.
